Due to the custom nature of landscape design services, return policies differ from those for physical products:
- Service Cancellation: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing within 5 business days of service agreement execution to be eligible for a full refund of deposits
- Consultation Services: Consultation cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment
- Design Project Cancellation: Cancellation requests received before work begins are eligible for full refund; after work begins, refunds are prorated based on work completed
- Completed Services: Once design services are completed and deliverables are provided, fees for completed work are non-refundable

Landscape design services are custom, personalized professional services created specifically for each client and property. Consultation Services

Return Shipping Costs
Since we provide professional services rather than physical products, standard shipping and return shipping policies do not apply. However, the following considerations apply:
- If physical materials are purchased on your behalf as part of project management services, return shipping costs for those materials are the responsibility of the client unless the materials are defective or incorrect
- Digital deliverables such as design documents, plans, and specifications are provided electronically at no additional shipping cost
- If printed materials or physical documents are requested and provided, return shipping costs for any such materials are the client's responsibility
- Site visit and consultation travel costs are non-refundable once services have been rendered
Design Services
Landscape design projects proceed through defined phases, typically including concept development, design refinement, and final documentation. Project fees are structured with payments due at key milestones. If you wish to cancel a design project:
- Cancellation before work begins: Full refund of any deposits paid
- Cancellation during concept phase: Partial refund based on work completed, minus costs incurred
- Cancellation after design approval: Fees for completed work are non-refundable, as design documents have been delivered

Design Revisions
Service agreements specify the number of design revisions included in project fees. Minor revisions to approved designs are typically accommodated within the scope of work. Significant changes that require substantial redesign work may incur additional fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
Material Purchases
If Scentediacandles purchases materials on behalf of clients as part of project management services, return policies for those materials are subject to the policies of individual suppliers and manufacturers. We will communicate applicable return terms for any materials purchased on your behalf.
Project Modifications
We understand that project requirements may change during the design process. We will work with clients to accommodate reasonable modifications within the scope of existing agreements. Significant changes that alter the project scope may require amendments to service agreements and adjustment of fees and timelines.
Dispute Resolution

Force Majeure
Scentediacandles shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of government, pandemic-related restrictions, or supplier delays. In such circumstances, we will work with clients to adjust timelines and expectations appropriately.
